Drone parts STL generator
Prop guards, landing legs and action-camera mounts made to your motor pattern, arm size and camera angle. Every part has a flat print face and holes printed 0.2 mm over size.

How it works
- 1
Pick a part
Prop guard, landing legs or camera mount — 7 ready-made starting points in the library, for 3, 5 and 7 inch props, clip-on or strap-on legs and strap or bolt-on mounts.
- 2
Enter your measurements
Prop size, motor bolt pattern and bolt size for a guard; arm width and thickness for legs; tilt, prong count and fixing for a camera mount.
- 3
Check the preview
Make sure the spokes stay under the prop, the clip matches the arm and the camera leans back by the angle you fly at.
- 4
Download and print
Download the STL and print it flat in PETG or PLA, with no supports.
The 7 drone parts in the library
Each entry is a set of starting numbers for 1 of 3 parametric parts, so a 3 inch guard and a 7 inch guard are the same guard with different values.
- Prop guard — 3 inch
- For a 3 inch prop on a 12 × 12 mm M2 motor pattern (2.2 mm holes), with 3 spokes.
- Prop guard — 5 inch
- For a 5 inch prop on a 16 × 16 mm M3 pattern (3.2 mm holes), with a diamond-lattice ring and 4 ribbed spokes.
- Prop guard — 7 inch
- For a 7 inch prop on the 16 × 16 mm M3 pattern of 28xx-size motors, for long-range builds.
- Drone landing legs — clip-on
- 4 snap-on legs for a 12 × 5 mm flat arm, 35 mm long with flat pads.
- Drone landing legs — strap-on
- 4 legs that strap or zip-tie under an arm up to 16 mm wide through a 10 mm slot, with ball feet.
- Drone action-camera mount — strap
- 3 prongs with an M5 nut trap, leaning back 25°, held on the top plate by a 20 mm battery strap.
- Drone action-camera mount — bolt-on
- 2 prongs tilted 30°, bolted to the frame with 2 M3 screws 20 mm apart.
What you can adjust
Every dimension that decides whether a part fits is a parameter, so you measure your drone rather than hunting for a file made for someone else’s.
- Prop guard
- Prop size 2 to 7 inch, a 2 to 10 mm gap to the tips, ring height 8 to 40 mm, a square or circular bolt pattern of 6 to 30 mm, bolt size 1.4 to 3 mm, a centre hole up to 14 mm and 3 or 4 spokes.
- Spokes and ribs
- Set the prop height above the plate and the ribs stay 3 mm below it; they start outside the motor bell, whose diameter you give (10 to 40 mm).
- Landing legs
- Arm width 4 to 30 mm (the clip is 0.2 mm wider), arm thickness 2 to 12 mm, strap width 3 to 20 mm, leg length 10 to 80 mm, splay 0 to 25°, pad or ball foot, 1 to 4 legs on the plate.
- Camera mount
- 2 or 3 prongs, tilt 0 to 40°, strap slots for a 10 to 30 mm strap or 2 frame bolts 12 to 60 mm apart, prong thickness and gap, and an M5 nut trap on 3-prong mounts.
Printing drone parts on a 0.4 mm nozzle
PETG is the better choice for parts that take knocks; PLA works for testing fit. None of these parts needs supports.
Holes come out 0.2 mm over the nominal bolt size, so an M3 screw goes through a 3.2 mm hole without drilling.
- Prop guards
- Print flat on the motor plate and bottom flange. The diamond windows have pointed roofs, so the lattice prints cleanly. The guard sits between motor and arm, so use motor screws 2 mm longer.
- Landing legs
- Print flat on the side, so the clip and leg are full-strength layers; a set of legs comes on 1 plate.
- Camera mount
- Prints flat on its base; the prong bolt hole is a teardrop, so it stays round without supports.
Questions
Will the prop guard fit my motor?
Set the bolt pattern (square side or circle diameter), the bolt size and the motor diameter to match yours. The library starts from a 12 × 12 mm M2 pattern for 3 inch props and 16 × 16 mm M3 for 5 and 7 inch props.
Do I need longer motor screws?
Yes. The guard plate sits between the motor and the arm, so use motor screws about 2 mm longer than the ones you have.
Which filament should I use?
PETG for parts that will take crashes and hard landings; PLA is fine for a test fit. The walls are sized for either.
Will the camera mount fit my action camera?
It is a generic 2- or 3-prong mount with 3 mm prongs and a 5.2 mm hole for an M5 bolt. Prong thickness, gap and bolt size can all be adjusted.
Can I sell the parts I print?
Printed items are covered by the commercial licence from the Pro plan upward, and the library is in the Ultra plan. The digital files themselves may not be redistributed.
Which plan includes the drone parts?
They are part of the parametric object library in the Ultra plan, which also includes everything in Pro.
