Cookie cutters

Customisable 3D printable cookie cutters for polymer clay and baking: shapes, outlines and sets made by the community. Download the STL or order a print.

Cutters built from artwork rather than modelled by hand, so the outline is exactly the shape that was drawn. Sizes are set in millimetres or inches and everything scales to the number you type.

Each one carries its offsets with it: the outer offset that forms the cutting edge and the wall behind it, and the inner offset that thickens thin areas so a spindly shape survives being pressed into dough.

What you can adjust

Size
Set the width or height and the whole shape scales, in millimetres or inches.
Offsets
Outer for the blade and wall, inner for material added inside the line.
Per-area heights
Every closed area found in the artwork can cut, emboss at a shallower depth, or be dropped.
Height
Usually 12–20 mm. Taller is easier to press, shorter is faster to print.

Questions

What should I print a cookie cutter in?

PLA for most uses, PETG if it will be washed often in hot water. Print it flat on the bed with the cutting edge up, no supports, three or four perimeters.

Can I change a design after downloading it?

Open it in the studio rather than editing the STL. The design keeps its parameters, so resizing or re-offsetting rebuilds the geometry properly instead of stretching a mesh.
