Set height and stand
Height from 60 to 200 mm, stand included. Add a round or square plinth; the Viking, Roman and kabuto helmets always sit on a head-form stand.

STL for one colour. For a painted helmet, the 3MF keeps every colour part separate, so Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer opens it ready to assign AMS slots.
The 21 helmets
A helmet you can wear does not fit a 250 mm bed, so these are display pieces: a hollow shell standing on its rim, a helmet on a head-form stand, or a pen cup or planter.

Painted helmets without a brush
Set the colours to painted and the helmet is split into colour parts — metal, trim, crest, visor, horns and stand — so each part is simply a filament slot. The painted presets use 3 or 4 colours, which fits one AMS.
The low poly Viking finish is one colour by design: the facets do the work.
Printing tips for a 0.4 mm nozzle and PLA
Print each helmet upright, exactly as exported. The closed helmets (great helm, Corinthian, astronaut, diving and sci-fi) stand on their rim with a pointed ceiling inside, so the dome never prints as a flat roof however round it looks outside. The open-faced ones (Viking, Roman, kabuto) sit on a smooth head form on a plinth, so their brims, cheek guards and neck guards rest on something.
Eye slits and holes have 45° chamfered or pointed tops, raised bands are bevelled underneath, and horns and crests leave the shell at a self-supporting angle. The result needs no supports at any height from 60 to 200 mm.
- Supports
- None, for every style, stand and height.
- Orientation
- Rim or plinth down on the bed, face forward.
- Pen cup and planter
- A round well from the crown down to a closed floor; the planter has no drainage hole.
- Height
- 60 to 200 mm overall, stand included.
Questions
Can I wear these helmets?
No. A wearable helmet does not fit a 250 mm bed, so these are display pieces from 60 to 200 mm tall, stand included — for a desk, a shelf or a games table.
Do they need supports?
No. Closed helmets print rim down with a pointed ceiling inside, open-faced ones sit on a head-form stand, and every hole, band, horn and crest is shaped so nothing overhangs.
Can I print a helmet in several colours?
Yes. Choose painted and the helmet is split into colour parts for an AMS; the 3MF keeps each part separate. Every helmet also works in one colour, and the low poly Viking is one colour only.
Can a helmet hold pens or a plant?
Yes. Set the use to pen cup and the crown opens into a round well with a closed floor — 68 mm on the knight pen holder, 31 mm on the Viking and 72 mm on the astronaut planter. There is no drainage hole, so water a plant sparingly.
Can I sell the helmets I print?
Printed items are covered by the commercial licence from the Pro plan upward, and the library is in the Ultra plan. The digital files themselves may not be redistributed.
Which plan includes the helmets?
They are part of the parametric object library in the Ultra plan, which also includes everything in Pro.
