Texture rollers
Patterned texture rollers for polymer clay, fondant and cookie dough: honeycomb, florals, hearts and more. Change size and depth, then download the STL.
Rollers that press a repeating relief into clay, dough or fondant in one pass. The pattern wraps the barrel a whole number of times, so the join lands where the tile repeats and there is no seam to hide.
The library behind these holds 82 parametric patterns across nine families — geometric, boho and tile, botanical, fabric and knit, texture, terrain, creature, industrial and seasonal — and none of them is a fixed image. Motif size, repeat count, depth, sharpness and twist are all numbers.

Questions
How should a texture roller be printed?
Standing on one end. Printed upright the pattern is a vertical wall that needs no supports; printed on its side the supports mark the exact surface that does the work. A 0.12–0.16 mm layer height keeps layer lines out of the clay.
What diameter works best?
30–50 mm suits hand work on polymer clay. Larger rolls more evenly across a big sheet, smaller reaches into awkward pieces.
