Gridfinity

Gridfinity compatible bins and baseplates on the 42 mm grid, with a stackable lip and magnet/screw holes for workshop and desk organisation.

Bins and baseplates on the standard 42 mm Gridfinity grid, so they drop into baseplates you already have and stack with bins you have already printed.

Generating them rather than downloading them means you can ask for the exact footprint and height a drawer needs, instead of picking the nearest of somebody else's sizes and living with the gap.

Questions

Are these compatible with standard Gridfinity?

Yes. They are built on the 42 mm grid with the usual stacking lip, magnet pocket size and screw hole spacing, so they interoperate with the ecosystem.

How should Gridfinity bins be printed?

Flat on the bed, no supports, 0.2 mm layers. Three perimeters is plenty. If you are fitting magnets, pause the print at the top of the pocket or design them as a bottom-facing hole.
